About Us

About Us.

Swinley Community Group was set up over ten years ago and is involved in local initiatives designed to improve the local environment. Our aim is to give people who live in the area a sense that the community cares and is actively trying to improve the quality of life for the Swinley community. The group meets every month and is open to any member of the community in the area who wishes to attend. There is no formal membership and volunteers chair and organise meetings. Volunteer Policy.

Swinley Community Hub is run entirely by volunteers, and as such, volunteering as a principle is central to our mission. We recognise that volunteers make an essential contribution to our work, helping us to achieve our core aims and objectives.

Litter Picking Policy.

Community clean-ups are a fantastic way to provide a sense of pride and responsibility, bringing neighbours together for a shared goal. Whether you have a few minutes to spare or a few hours, you can get involved in our local clean ups. Our litter picking days will be advertised on the website.
